Sorry I haven't had the chance to sit down and blog, because at the moment I am a mommy of two little ones! I have in my care a two year old little boy as well as an 8 month old little girl. I will post pictures but will not be able to talk a lot about this cuties. (Security reasons)
But I would have to say that the hardest part of my instant family has to be the lack of schedule. I don't know the napping schedule, or what they like to eat!
I am already attached to these little ones but need some sleep!
When I get another moment I will try to get some pictures up for you

I'm on the edge of my seat! Congratulations! Maybe I'll look back at my blog to see what some of Maryn's favorites were at 8 months. I know she's always liked grits more than baby cereal, Gerber puffs (all babies like those), yogurt melts (great for the digestive tract), yogurt, cottage cheese...if she doesn't seem to like something, just keep trying it. One day Maryn hates something and the next she loves it.
The two year old I watch loves mac and cheese casserole. It makes great leftovers and it tastes yummy cold or hot. Just mix a box of Kraft Mac and Cheese (Publix brand is so good, too) with a can (or half a can to make less messy) of mushroom soup and a can of tuna. You can hide peas or mixed veggies in it too. Kids love it and you have almost all the food groups in there!
I have a can of formula...do you want it? I'll keep any other samples I get too.
